Job Summary:

Rishabh RPO is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Architect to lead the development and execution of a global network architecture roadmap. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud, data center, and premise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a global network architecture that meets business needs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive network architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to remediate performance and scaling bottlenecks.
  • Create and update graphical and written network architecture documentation, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Maintain expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, wireless networking, and network security technologies to ensure cost-effective solutions and processes.
  • Monitor network infrastructure and traffic, identifying and documenting problem areas and recommending network infrastructure and performance improvements.
  • Assess new technologies and best practices for adoption, driving standardization and automation in all aspects of the network environment.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a timely, clear, and concise manner, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose complex network problems.
  • Define network technology strategies, best practices, guidelines, and standards based on emerging technologies.
  • Develop a high-performing, highly available distributed mesh network infrastructure that meets application roadmaps and adapts to security requirements.
  • Optimize and evolve the current network for performance, resiliency, and availability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' experience architecting scalable cloud, data center, and office network infrastructure using public cloud technology and enterprise-class routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networking devices.
  • 10+ years' experience with OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and multicast routing protocols, Voice Over IP, and QoS configuration on routers and switches in enterprise environments using IPv4.
  • 5+ years' experience with enterprise wireless networking solutions such as Aruba, Cisco, or Meraki.
  • Demonstrated experience with network configuration management and monitoring tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with access control technologies such as Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass.
  • Experience with documentation and presentation tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Visio.
  • LAN/WAN experience including installation and troubleshooting of leased lines, TDM, FDM, WDM, DWDM, CWDM, and multi-vendor networks that encompass switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and NFV and VMware Virtualization technologies.
  • Must maintain influential knowledge of industry trends and innovation in network technologies.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, Multicast, IPSec/SSL, SNMP, SMTP, E/IGRP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, IS-IS, SPBm 802.1Q, 802.1x NAC, and other communication and routing protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with video surveillance, IP Telephony, VoIP, and teleconferencing and related equipment.
  • Internetworking technologies include ATM, MPLS, POS, SRP/DPT, SONET/SDH, BroadBand Cable/xDSL, and SDN/SD-WAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ONS, CRS-1, ASR (XE,XR iOS),12000s, ISR, Nexus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced Cisco networking certification (CCNP R&S, CCIE R&S).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or shell scripting.
  • Proficiency with SD-WAN and network automation using orchestration platforms, scripting, and REST APIs.
  • Strong interest in continuing networking education and certification.
