Robotics Coach

Uncommon Schools is seeking an experienced Robotics Coach to lead a rookie team at one of our schools. As a Robotics Coach, you will be responsible for guiding students in the design, build, and operation of robots for competition.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of students in the design, build, and operation of robots for competition.
- Develop and implement lesson plans to teach students robotics and engineering concepts.
- Work with students to prepare for competitions, including designing and building robots, testing and debugging, and developing strategies for competition.
- Communicate with parents and school administrators to ensure student participation and progress.
- Collaborate with other coaches and educators to develop and implement robotics programs.
- Experience coaching or teaching robotics or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of robotics and engineering concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and educators.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Annual stipend of $4500-$9000 based on experience and contracted hours per week.
