Job Title: Robotics Coach

Uncommon Schools is seeking an experienced Robotics Coach to lead a rookie team at one of our schools. As a Robotics Coach, you will be responsible for guiding students in the design, build, and operation of robots for competition.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of students in the design, build, and operation of robots for competition.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to teach students robotics and engineering concepts.
  • Work with students to prepare for competitions, including designing and building robots, testing and debugging, and developing strategies for competition.
  • Communicate with parents and school administrators to ensure student participation and progress.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and educators to develop and implement robotics programs.
Requirements:
  • Experience coaching or teaching robotics or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics and engineering concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and educators.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
