The Agile Facilitator leverages extensive technical expertise in Agile methodologies to oversee the scrum process across distributed teams, ensuring exceptional product quality and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings
  • Exhibits strong conflict resolution skills
  • Tracks and removes impediments effectively
  • Ensures adherence to scrum processes
  • Protects the team from external distractions and interruptions
  • Communicates vital information between the team and stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Assists team members in clarifying objectives and actions to achieve them
  • Acts as a coach in Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrates proficiency in estimation and planning
  • Communicates effectively to maintain team cohesion
  • Possesses knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as Kanban and XP
  • Understands the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Strong grasp of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
  • Basic understanding of software development processes
  • Familiarity with Agile techniques like User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, and Automated Testing
  • Ability to commit to delivering projects on schedule
  • Knowledge of tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and user stories
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools for managing sprints and user stories
  • Familiar with standard development practices, service-oriented environments, and Agile methodologies
Are you the right fit?
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience as an Agile Facilitator in IT and/or Financial Services
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
  • Certification as a Scrum Master

About Our Team

The IT SIFMU Delivery Department is responsible for core Clearing and Settlement application delivery for DTC, NSCC, and FICC. The department also develops and supports Asset Services, Wealth Management & Insurance Services, and Master Reference Data applications.
