Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, prioritizing their needs and ensuring timely interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote a safe and optimal patient experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry developments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of six months of Emergency Department RN experience within the last two years.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Experience with trauma nursing, pediatric advanced life support, and mobile intensive care nursing.
- Knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.
This is a part-time position with variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
