Job Overview
The Break is a coffee shop looking for responsible adults to join their team as Bartenders/Baristas. This role involves preparing and serving specialty coffees, craft cocktails, and food while maintaining a clean and tidy environment.

Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $9.25-$12.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and skills. Additionally, employees can expect to earn $2.00-$5.00 in tips per hour. A performance-based raise will be given at 30 days, with bonuses at 60 and 90 days, contingent upon meeting specific requirements.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working weekends and evenings, including at least one Sunday a month.
• Preparing and serving specialty coffees, craft cocktails, and food.
• Learning about specialty coffee and its preparation methods.
• Learning how to operate the espresso machine and follow recipes.
• Accurately describing menu items to customers and understanding their preferences.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation and shop area.
• Communicating effectively with coworkers and management.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Obtain a food handlers and liquor license within 30 days of employment.
• Have a customer service-oriented personality and be friendly and outgoing.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pass a background check and have no prior felonies or drug-related misdemeanors on record.
