Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telecommunication Specialist Lead to join our team at the State of California. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a team of three highly skilled associates in a call center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of IT specialists in providing end-user support for telecommunications in a forward-thinking technology atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with team members to fairly distribute and prioritize information technology incidents, service requests, and tickets.
  • Administer Microsoft Teams voice, Mobile Device Fleet Administration, FAX services, AWS Amazon Connect Call Center, reports, and billing.
  • Translate customer use cases and requirements into workflow diagrams.
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, time management skills, and a team-centric work ethic.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a call center environment supporting telecommunications hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Office 365, iOS, Android, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to lead a team of three team members on small, medium, or large information technology projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, time management skills, and a team-centric work ethic.
