In Monument Health's Rehab Services Department, we're dedicated to providing compassionate patient-focused care. As a Physical Therapist, you'll be an essential team member, valued for your expertise in enhancing physical health and functional abilities for patients of all ages. You'll provide direct care, operating in outpatient services, and carry out operational duties as needed. Our physical therapy services are also provided at outreach sites, where you'll play an active role in providing care.

Job Description
As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing treatment that meets or exceeds departmental outcome standards.
- Documenting in a timely, accurate manner, which supports medical necessity in accordance with department standards.
- Submitting required paperwork for billing, accurate charges, and authorizations.
- Demonstrating initiative in individual professional development and completing education required by the Monument Health system and for licensure/certification in a timely manner.
- Providing supervision according to state, federal, and professional association standards.
- Incorporating and educating patients, family, and caregivers in treatment, goal setting, and discharge planning as appropriate.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Certification: Physical Therapist (PT) license in South Dakota
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and relevant experience. The position requires the ability to work designated shift lengths, including 8 and 12 hours, which may include night shifts or occasional irregular hours.
