We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Adhesive Packer to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of production, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Control and adjust machine settings, including speed
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging
- Fix issues that may occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Analytical skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- High school diploma or equivalent
This is a full-time position that requires standing, walking, and pushing for the entire shift. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with hot and cold temperatures, is essential. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently, are also required.
