Laundry Worker

At Healthcare Services Group, we are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linen into the washer(s) and loading clean linens into the dryer(s), folding clean linens, counting and recording the linen processed each day, making proper deliveries to units, and cleaning and sanitizing the work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting areas.

• Collect, sort, and load soiled linen into the washer(s) and load clean linens into the dryer(s)
• Fold clean linens and count and record the linen processed each day
• Make proper deliveries to units and clean and sanitize the work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting areas
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment is achieved at all times
• Follow proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures/techniques

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
• After completing all appropriate training, utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time and comply with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
