About the Role

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a travel position in Kansas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and perform diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Produce accurate and timely images, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards and regulations.
  • Prepare patients for exams, provide instructions, and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, position them correctly, and observe their condition.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform IV starts and contrast administration as required, and assist with patient transport as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, input charges, and complete required paperwork for each exam.
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and exam materials for exams, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical operation of equipment, notify service when necessary, and log service calls.
  • Participate in quality checks, equipment maintenance, and documentation.
  • Proactively identify problems and follow up with management personnel.
  • Establish a motivating and constructive rapport with physicians, staff, and system departments.
  • Maintain a high skill level through ongoing education and meeting attendance, and share information with staff.
  • May assist in clinical and didactic education of student radiographers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in professional activities, participate in department and hospital quality initiatives, and maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • State License-Radiology Technologist-Kansas
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs
