Key Responsibilities:
As a Flatbed Truck Operator, you will:
- Prepare, receive, and manage the necessary documentation for the transportation of goods.
- Maintain accurate DOT travel logs in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Safely operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to deliver building materials to our valued customers.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness to uphold our professional standards.
- Exhibit a professional appearance by wearing the assigned uniform.
- Lift and handle loads up to 100 lbs., approximately 8-10 times daily, depending on the number of stops.
- Secure loads using tension/strap bars at each delivery point.
- Ascend and descend from the tractor-trailer cab and flatbed trailer as required.
- Work consistently in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Bring at least 2 years of relevant tractor/trailer experience.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
