We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at TLD, a leading manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment in the aviation and aerospace industries.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using various equipment, including drills, wrenches, and high-pressure carts.
- Pressure test valves and similar components to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Document work completed on manufacturing and production travelers.
- 1+ year of experience in assembly of preformed sheet metal parts and use of mechanical equipment.
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain and climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to work in and around areas with limited space and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work first shift (Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm).
