Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant - PRN will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions and activities of daily living training
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
  • Current and valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment
  • Previous experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
