Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical site plans, including electrical layout drawings, lighting schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Prepare and evaluate electrical construction cost estimates
- Collaborate with and review the design contributions of other engineers and technicians
- Conduct submittal reviews and oversee electrical construction activities
- Assess project scope and financial estimates
- Monitor and maintain adherence to project scope and budget
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Professional Electrical Engineer certification in Idaho or Washington, or eligibility to apply for reciprocity
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in power systems, lighting, and control systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Revu
- Familiarity with design principles related to PLCs, MCCs, VFDs, Standby Power Systems, and SCADA systems is preferred
- Experience with power analysis software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) and lighting analysis software (Visual, Agi32) is advantageous
