We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Service Worker - Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our hospitality service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and deliver patient meal trays, ensuring that all dietary needs and preferences are met.
  • Set up patient food service stations and assist in the assembly of patient breakfast trays.
  • Deliver menus to patients and assist with menu selections, ensuring that patients have a clear understanding of their options.
  • Retrieve meal trays from patient rooms and patient care unit kitchens, ensuring that all personal items are removed.
  • Strip and rinse dishes and silverware, and assist with washing breakfast dishes and trays.
  • Check with the Hospitality Service Office for new admissions or diet changes, and take new menus and diet awareness cards to patients.
  • Deliver NOW trays/meals, discharged trays, guest trays, and isolation trays, securing unit nursing staff sign-off prior to delivery.
  • Inventory and stock the hospitality cart and/or hospitality basket, and deliver bulk nourishments to units as requested.
  • Provide clerical support to the Hospitality Service Office, including answering the telephone and following up on requests and problems communicated by the unit-based Hospitality team.
  • Produce standard computer reports, including meal tallies, diet orders, nourishment labels, patient meal tray tickets, and patient menus.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working in a restaurant/kitchen environment.
  • Must have customer service experience.
  • Must be comfortable with hospital compliance and onboarding process.

Available Shifts:

  • 6:00am-2:30pm
  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • All employees will need to work every other weekend.
