Job Description

At Precision Technology, we are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and conducting acceptance testing on intricate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all required electro-mechanical or opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, or modification of production hardware or customer-owned systems.
  • Perform acceptance inspection to ensure compliance with drawing and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct assembly-level acceptance testing in accordance with approved Acceptance Test Procedures or other engineering documents.
  • Assist in basic diagnostic and fault isolation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering in failure analysis and implementation of corrective action.
  • Repair customer-owned products in a repair environment, working from failure reports, engineering drawings, or repair manuals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one to three years of experience in manufacturing related to complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, major assemblies, and systems.
  • Ability to work directly from engineering drawings, schematics, performance specifications, quality standards, and customer repair orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal written instructions and direct supervision.
  • Basic computer operation skills are necessary for accessing Engineering and Configuration systems.
  • Proficient in the usage and operation of basic electrical test equipment and mechanical measuring instruments.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to wear a company-provided respirator for certain job functions.
