Job Summary:

The Junction LLC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide fast and courteous service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure store environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Inventory and Cash Control: Accurately receive, stock, and manage inventory, as well as handle cash and operate a cash register.
  • Stocking and Merchandising: Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Pricing and Replenishment: Accurately price merchandise, restock supplies, and maintain a well-stocked store.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic Math Skills: Demonstrate basic math skills, including the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Be a self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess the ability to pay attention to details, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • IT Skills: Possess basic IT skills, including the ability to operate a cash register and other necessary equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Retail Experience: One year of experience in retail sales and cash handling is preferred, but not required.
