Tool and Die Craftsman

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Operate machine shop equipment, including CNC lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-quality parts.
• Apply mechanical techniques to assemble or repair machine parts, using shop mathematics skills and knowledge of metal properties.
• Study specifications, such as blueprints and hand-drawn sketches, to plan and lay out work.
• Perform simple welding and soldering as needed.
• Organize workflow and maintain a clean work area.

**Requirements:**

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of machining experience or equivalent technical school degree.
• Knowledge of machining equipment and ability to operate CNC machines.
• General mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot production equipment problems.
