Job SummaryWe are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Intern to perform support tasks for our department, as directed, and maintain clear and appropriate documentation. As a team member, you will assist the team in improving processes and participate in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
Essential Functions- Maintain accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
- Maintain clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
- Analyze department processes and other Spectrum Health systems encountered and make recommendations for improvements, as appropriate.
- Communicate, collaborate, and act as a team player with others to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an area of accountability.
- May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
- Ideal candidate will be a Respiratory Therapy Student who has completed at least 1 Year of Respiratory Therapy School.
This part-time position is located at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is committed to providing excellent patient care and improving processes.
