About This Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Golub Capital as a Senior Data Steward Manager. The successful candidate will lead and manage all data governance and data stewardship activities performed by the Business Technology & Analytics (BT&A) Team for the Firm.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant work experience with database systems, financial data management, and experience in the direct lending/private debt industry. Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, data warehouses, and SSAS Cubes is required.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other departments across the firm to tackle data quality issues and other data governance projects aimed at improving data capture and quality
  • Implement, monitor and enforce DGC-sponsored initiatives such as data protection and privacy procedures, data lineage and report labeling standards within BT&A and other Hive stewardship teams
  • Co-lead the Hive Platform Governance Team and drive complex projects to reduce 'technical debt' within the CRM and gain operational efficiencies and improve data quality
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required, preferably in finance, business, information technology, computer science, data analytics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with database systems, financial data management, with experience in the direct lending/private debt industry preferred
