Our team of ten veterinarians makes approximately 4,800 farm calls per year, providing essential care and services to the region's agricultural community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex schedules for a busy multi-species and multi-disciplinary ambulatory practice, ensuring efficient routing and timely client appointments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering in-bound calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating veterinarians' clinical schedules.
- Assist with intake and discharge of patient information, preparation of health certificates, and communication of laboratory results.
- Support office administrative functions, including scanning documents, filing, and responding to client inquiries.
- Collaborate with other support staff to cross-train and cover busy periods, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- High School Diploma/GED and 2-4 years' experience in animal agriculture, veterinary, or medical practice.
- Familiarity with veterinary and medical terminology, pharmacology, and animal behavior.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and practice management software.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- AA/AS degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Technology with 1-3 years' related experience.
- Knowledge and experience with livestock, including cows, goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas, and pigs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity, with a minimum of $22.10, midpoint of $26.30, and maximum of $30.50.
