Position Overview: The Radiology Technologist operates advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients under the direct supervision of a physician. This role requires expertise in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating rooms, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency departments, and outpatient procedures. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating rooms, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency departments, and outpatient procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Participate in call back rotations at multiple sites to ensure 24/7 patient coverage
Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred
- Graduate degree in Radiologic Technology required
- Registered Technologist for Radiography certification required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification required
Work Schedule: This role requires working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with every weekend being a requirement. The successful candidate will also be part of a call rotation to ensure 24/7 patient coverage.
