Soil and Asphalt Technician

We are seeking a skilled Soil and Asphalt Technician to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a key member of our CMT Department, you will be responsible for the processing and testing of soil, asphalt, and concrete materials using company and client-specific guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities- Log in material samples and prepare them for processing
- Perform tests using appropriate ASTM methods
- Enter test data manually onto the proper forms
- Maintain a clean working environment and perform general maintenance on lab equipment
- Assist Drilling and Construction Material Testing Departments as required by Org Supervisor
The ideal candidate should have ACI Level I and strength testing certifications and have completed nuclear gauge safety training. We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications- High school degree or equivalent
- General maintenance skills and basic math skills
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
- ACI Level I or II certification required
