We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion of exams.
- Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and take patient history to retrieve any required orders or prior images.
- Provide patient history and symptoms relevant to the exam to the radiologist and complete documentation accurately.
- Coordinate patient flow, check the daily list to ensure all exams are completed, and support ALARA principles.
- Inform patients about procedures, answer questions, and interact professionally with physicians, patients, and family members.
- Start IVs for contrast administration, use the power injector, and contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
- Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role and handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas.
- Promote customer service initiatives by adhering to the ICARE values and support quality and performance improvement plans.
- Comply with quarterly targeted metrics and demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages served.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
- 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Flexible PRN schedule, working day 7AM-8:30PM or night shift 7PM-8:30AM.
