- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
The physical demands of this position include occasional to frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The environmental exposures include, but are not limited to, blood-borne pathogen exposure, bio-hazardous waste, chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting, patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, travel may be required, and use of personal protective equipment, including respirators.
