Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department. This role involves working closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients recovering from various conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time position with a daytime schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend shifts or on-call duties
- Focus on inpatient care for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, post-stroke conditions, and other serious health issues requiring hospitalization.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers.
- No procedural tasks required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible status is required.
- Acceptable certifications include ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA.
- Experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-stroke care is advantageous.
- Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
