Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in San Diego, California.

Job Summary:

This is a 5-week travel assignment with a 36-hour workweek, 12-hour shifts, and nights. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy and be willing to adapt to new environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with various conditions, including respiratory failure, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
