Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at a well-established acute hospital in Pasdena, CA. As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
This is a full-time per diem opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $34 and a guaranteed weekly direct deposit. As a Registered Nurse with CareerStaff Unlimited, you will have access to a range of benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for bonus programs and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of healthcare facilities across the country.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Working independently with attention to detail and possessing the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations.
- Fostering a caring environment that respects patients' dignity.
- Maintaining a high quality of care for individuals with psychiatric and mental health illnesses.
- Delivering and evaluating all patient care provided.
- Remaining flexible to work a variable schedule that includes early start times, late end times, weekend, and holidays.
- Being a model of professionalism and compassion to our organization.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- 1 year of supervised experience as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- An active RN license through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
