Position Overview
This medical facility in South Georgia is in search of a board certified or board eligible physician with expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The selected candidate will become part of a well-established practice consisting of three physicians. The role offers a competitive compensation package in line with MGMA standards, along with comprehensive benefits including health, disability, and malpractice insurance, relocation assistance, and educational loan support.
Key Highlights of the Position
- The compensation is projected to be in the range of $355,000 to $365,000 (guaranteed salary) with an annual cost-of-living increase of 3%. Compensation is not based on RVUs. A quarterly bonus is available, equating to 100% of the practice profits (revenue minus overhead).
- Student loan repayment assistance of up to $30,000 per year is offered if necessary. Candidates may select between a residency stipend of $4,000 per month from contract signing until employment commencement or a sign-on bonus of equivalent value upon starting.
- As a teaching hospital with family medicine and psychiatry residency programs, our physicians receive family health insurance in exchange for mentoring six residents or medical students annually.
- A relocation allowance of up to $25,000 is provided, along with coverage for two house-hunting trips. Additionally, a $4,000 allowance for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and five paid CME days each year are included, alongside 20 PTO days and seven paid holidays, plus a monthly cell phone allowance.
- Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM, with Friday afternoons reserved for administrative tasks as needed.
- The facility delivered 700 babies in the previous year.
