Job Summary

CDR Health Care is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team in the Tallahassee area. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, assessing joint quality and function, and administering therapy treatments based on individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and answer any questions or inquiries.
  • Evaluate clients to assess joint quality and function and locate painful or tender areas of the body for desired results.
  • Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body to administer therapy treatments based on individual needs, such as medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance.
  • Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture.
  • Prepare and blend oils and apply the blends to clients' skin.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the massage room before, during, and after each session.
  • Document and maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients, and the client's conditions and progress.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and continuous training sessions.
Requirements
  • Massage Therapy License (required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of two (2) + years relevant work experience (preferred).
  • Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours, weekends and overtime as needed to provide support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Attentive to detail & highly motivated to succeed.
