We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including orthopedics, gynecology, general, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, CV, spine, neurology, oral/maxillofacial, and minimally invasive procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to surgeons and nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
