About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team at A Miracle Home Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This will include assisting with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, as well as providing companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Provide mobility assistance, such as walking, transferring, and using a Hoyer lift;
  • Assist with nutrition and meal preparation, including shopping for groceries;
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients;
  • Accompany clients to appointments and ensure safe return home;
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, sweeping, and washing floors;
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided;
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Meet one of the required training criteria;
  • Pass BCII/FBI background checks and database checks;
  • Hold a valid Driver's License and possess a reliable vehicle;
  • Able to understand written task sheets and execute instructions;
  • Demonstrate a compassionate attitude towards caring for the sick and mature;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and emergency service personnel;
  • Attend an in-person/classroom training prior to client contact and pass skills testing by return demonstration;
  • Achieve an attendance rate of 90% or higher.
Compensation

The salary for this role is approximately $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with opportunities for part-time work.
