We are seeking a skilled Neurology Specialist to join our inpatient care team at the Illinois Neurological Institute and OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a 7 on 7 off schedule, offering flexibility and work-life balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing adult neurology patients in an acute care setting, making diagnostic and treatment decisions, and collaborating across multiple medical disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities- Comprehensive management of adult neurology patients in an acute care setting
- Diagnostic and treatment decisions in the ED, including suitability for thrombolytic and/or endovascular stroke treatments
- Managing routine and complex inpatient neurologic conditions
- Collaboration across multiple medical disciplines
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
$250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
