Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team at Plainville Plating Co., Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the wastewater treatment system to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Record and track data from the system, including chemical levels and treatment process metrics.
  • Calibrate chemical probes and collect samples for outside and on-site testing.
  • Prepare and treat chemicals for processing through the system, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist laboratory personnel with processing tank maintenance and ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Work in compliance with OSHA and CTDEEP regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to move barrels of chemicals and perform tasks that require manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Experience with wastewater treatment systems and process control.
  • Background in manufacturing or a related field.
