Certification Requirements
  • ARRT Registration: Must be ARRT registered, preferably in VI (Vascular Interventional) or CV (Cardiovascular).
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (AHA) certification is mandatory.
  • Advanced Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC may be necessary based on departmental needs.
  • Verification: Various certifications might need to be confirmed according to facility protocols.
Position Overview
  • Role: Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Work Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off and potential weekend shifts.
  • On-Call Duties: On-call responsibilities are required, including one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month, with a 30-minute callback time.
  • Department: This role is situated within the inpatient/outpatient Interventional Radiology department, featuring 4 angiography suites, 1 CT suite, and 1 pain management clinic.
  • Experience: Candidates should possess experience in neuro and peripheral interventions.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Radiologic Technology Training: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Interventional Radiology Training: Graduation from an approved School of Interventional Radiology is preferred.
  • Licensing: Must hold a valid VA state license; a VA emergency license is acceptable, but another active state license is required for application.
Work Schedule Details
  • Shift Structure: 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off.
