Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper account documentation in the facility's billing system
  • Follow up with payers to resolve claim rejections and denials
  • Investigate and resolve credit balances
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to patients and third-party payers
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Billing and Payer knowledge of Hospital and/or Physician Billing
  • Working knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT terminology
  • 1-2 years experience in a related field
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and talking. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds is occasionally required.
