Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Reefer Shuttle Driver to join our team at Drive My Way. As a Local Reefer Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting refrigerated goods between Erie, PA and Cleveland, OH, as well as New Philadelphia, OH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
  • Operate newer Freightliner's and Internationals, mostly automatic with some manual.
  • Ensure all trucks are equipped with cameras and follow governed speed limits.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 22 years of age.
  • Must have a valid CDL A license.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • No DUI/DWIs in the last 3 years.
  • Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
