About the Role:
We are in search of a Lead Clinical Nutrition Scientist who is deeply committed to ensuring the scientific integrity of our nutrition offerings. This role involves developing impactful product and program solutions that meet critical customer demands in the global nutrition landscape.
Team Dynamics:
The Nutrition Product Development team is a collaborative group that includes experts in formulation, process engineering, packaging, and nutrition research. Our focus is on innovation and the introduction of new products that resonate with our global audience.
Your Contributions:
As a Clinical Investigator in Nutrition Product Development, you will:
1. Assess scientific literature to bolster the Nutrilite product range and establish a competitive edge.
2. Engage in preliminary research to identify relevant mechanisms and outcomes, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to enhance ingredient and product technologies.
3. If clinical trials are deemed necessary, you will design protocols, select suitable partners, oversee study execution, and analyze results to create consumer-friendly claims that validate our products' efficacy.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- An advanced degree (PhD preferred) in a relevant field such as Bioscience, Nutrition, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or Microbiology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific research, including methods, analysis, and publication.
- A proven track record of delivering scientific presentations and educating the public on nutrition.
Key Skills:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- The ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for consumer understanding.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and influence diverse audiences.
- Experience in leading clinical studies within an industry context is advantageous.
- Familiarity with grant applications and industry trends is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications such as RD (Registered Dietician) or ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) are a plus.
