About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Children's Mercy KC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, under the direction of an authorized user.
  • Utilize your expertise to evaluate indications for exams and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Meet NRC standards for record keeping and perform essential computer functions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
