About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. in the Brea region. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for driving deposit growth and developing long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve targeted deposit growth goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities to expand our services and deepen our relationships
  • Collaborate with our sales team to develop and implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with our business objectives
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support and expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to differentiate our services and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of banking sales experience, with a focus on deposit acquisition and relationship management
  • Proven track record of driving deposit growth and developing strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
