The Water and Sewage Plant Supervisor is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant at Folsom State Prison. This position works under the direction of the Chief Engineer and requires a strong understanding of water treatment processes and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the water treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal water quality.
- Supervise and train plant staff to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and control plant processes to ensure optimal water quality and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and plant operations.
- Ability to supervise and train plant staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
