Position: Clinical Specimen Technician

Work Environment: Clinical Setting

Compensation: $17/hour

Schedule: Week 1: Tuesday 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM and Wednesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Week 2: Tuesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Wednesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
The Clinical Specimen Technician will be responsible for the collection of blood and urine samples from patients in a healthcare environment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct venipunctures with precision
- Collect various specimens, including urine samples
- Complete necessary laboratory requisition forms
- Gather and verify patient demographic information
- Properly label and prepare specimens for transport

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in phlebotomy is essential for this position.
