Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing group music therapy programs for students in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music therapy programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with the IEP team to develop goals and objectives for students who require direct music therapy services.
  • Provide group music therapy services using a musical approach to non-music skills in the curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of music therapy into the school program.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
