About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Maintenance Team at Mativ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal reliability and uptime of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment, troubleshoot problems, and apply theory and related knowledge to install, rebuild, or repair equipment as needed.
  • Assist with all service calls while on duty, ensuring all required tools, parts, and supplies are available for each job performed.
  • Complete required service records and be responsible for recommending and/or initiating equipment modifications and/or replacement of components.
  • Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot various systems and equipment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and respond to call-ins at any time of day or night.
  • Technical/problem-solving skills and ability to contribute in a team environment to meet business objectives.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, enclosed spaces, and on and around moving equipment.
  • Ability to lift/move weights of up to 50 pounds and go out of town overnight for training.
