Job Title: Per Diem Nurse RN Med Surg

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse RN Med Surg to join our team. As a Per Diem Nurse RN Med Surg, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Nurse RN Med Surg will be responsible for providing direct patient care, applying current health concepts, and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, applying current health concepts, and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Contribute to the assigned unit nursing team, functioning as a member of the unit.
  • Remain abreast of current trends/information in nursing and applies this knowledge/information to practice.
  • Attend required unit meetings/classes.
  • Apply knowledge, judgment, and skills as based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student in accredited school preparing persons to practice as a Registered Nurse and completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component /OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Nursing Technician Registered credential.
  • Documentation of current clinical competencies from completed Nursing School course work.
  • Current BLS certification.
