This is a Part-Time role as a Rehabilitation Therapist within our inpatient rehabilitation services. This position also qualifies for benefits. Additionally, there are stackable Shift Differential Premiums available that enhance your hourly earnings when working specific shifts.

Position Overview:

Evaluates and provides treatment for patients experiencing physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial challenges.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Evaluates the patient's capacity to safely and effectively perform daily living activities. Develops an appropriate care plan, detailing the type and frequency of treatment required.
  • Executes the treatment plan utilizing suitable modalities. Records observations of patient progress. Adjusts and modifies the care plan as necessary. Seeks guidance when required.
  • Informs the patient and their family/caregiver about the patient's challenges. Plans and/or assists with the patient's transition from therapy services and provides guidance on the selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervises the care delivered by designated personnel in accordance with established regulations and professional standards.
  • Maintains a constant state of alertness and safety.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field as mandated for licensure in the state of practice.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • No prior experience necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Continuous standing.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Regular use of hearing and speech for effective communication.
  • Regular auditory skills to detect body sounds and/or alarms, malfunctioning equipment, etc.
  • Regular visual acuity for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
  • Frequent walking, reaching, gripping, and data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements of the legs and arms.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of patients and objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional driving.
  • Rare crawling.

Licenses / Certifications:
