Advanced Practice Clinician

Beebe Healthcare is a vibrant, coastal community-based healthcare organization seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to provide comprehensive healthcare services to adolescent students within a high school wellness center.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary care services to adolescent students, including physical examinations, health screenings, treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, immunizations, chronic disease management, reproductive health care, and mental health assessments and referrals.
- Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff.
- Collaborate with school nurses, counselors, and administrators to address student health needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide on-call coverage as required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies or field equivalent.
- National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure (for NP candidates).
- Active Delaware Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure with prescriptive authority (for NP candidates).
- Active Delaware Physician Assistant Licensure (for PA candidates).
- Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) if practicing in Delaware.
- Federal DEA registration with Office Address.
- Three years of related pediatric clinical experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current BLS and AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification.
- Ability to obtain Beebe Healthcare credentialing.
- Experience in school-based healthcare.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
