About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Sheboygan County, WI. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the existing nursing staff and providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make unoccupied beds and maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
  • Pass clean linens and resident laundry, and assist caregivers with obtaining necessary supplies.
  • Stock supplies to resident rooms and assist with setting up trays for meals.
  • Provide general clean-up of spills during mealtime and serve food items to tables or assist staff as needed.
  • Deliver dirty carts to the Dietary Department and assist with activities, such as reading to residents and writing cards or letters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all Center Safety Protocols as it relates to the position.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in daily work hours and schedule.
