About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Kimpton Hotel. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve drinks in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide outstanding service to guests, including greeting and welcoming them, taking orders, and serving food and beverages
  • Act as an advocate for the bar/restaurant, creating personal experiences for guests and developing relationships that will compel them to return
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including filling and cleaning ice bins, emptying trash cans, and restocking beer and wine coolers
  • Follow uniform and grooming specifications, and maintain cooperative communication with support crew and management
Requirements
  • 1 year of bartending experience preferred
  • Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences
  • Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable of credit card and cash handling procedures, as well as recording accurate tip-out sheets and calculating accurate bill amounts
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable)
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
