Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team based out of our Tracy, CA distribution center. As a CDL A Driver, you'll be responsible for inspecting, fueling, and driving our tractor trailers on delivery routes. You'll ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, while providing top-notch service to our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain tractor trailers to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Drive tractor trailers on delivery routes, adhering to safe driving practices and company policies
  • Unload pallets using electric pallet jacks, with some exceptions
  • Complete pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections, documenting any defects or concerns
  • Verify load and load destination, ensuring proper load securement
  • Communicate any issues that may affect the route plan
  • Ensure all cargo is secured throughout the delivery route
  • Complete and verify all required paperwork and temperature requirements
  • Accurately report hours of service in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Strong commitment to DOT compliance, safety, and accident-free miles
  • Ability to work varying hours, including overnight shifts
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, push/pull 100 pounds, and engage in crawling, crouching, kneeling, or stooping as required
  • Ability to work in environments requiring personal protective equipment (PPE)
